Privacy Policy
At Capryvo we protect the personal information of the people who interact with our platform. This Privacy Policy describes which data we collect, for what purpose, how we process it and which rights you have as a data subject, in accordance with Dominican Law No. 172-13 on the Protection of Personal Data.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Capryvo Inversiones Inmobiliarias S.R.L. (hereinafter, «Capryvo»), a company incorporated in the Dominican Republic, with registered offices at Av. Winston Churchill 1099, Torre Citi, 12th Floor, Piantini, Santo Domingo de Guzmán, National District, RNC 1-32-45678-9.
2. Data we collect
When you subscribe to the newsletter we collect: name, email address, preferred language and subscription date. We also collect browsing data (truncated IP address, browser, operating system and visited pages) through cookies and similar technologies, according to your choice on the consent banner.
3. Purpose of the processing
We use the data to (i) send you communications about real estate crowdlending projects, (ii) analyse platform usage on an aggregated basis, (iii) comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations and (iv) improve our services and educational content.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on the explicit consent you provide when submitting the subscription form, on Capryvo's legitimate interest in operating and improving the platform, and on the fulfilment of applicable legal obligations.
5. Data retention
We keep your data as long as your subscription remains active or for the periods required by Dominican law. You can request cancellation at any time by writing to privacidad@capryvo.com.
6. Recipients and transfers
We do not sell or transfer your data. We may share it with technology providers acting as data processors (transactional email, web analytics and hosting) under contracts that ensure an adequate level of protection. These providers may be located in the United States and the European Union.
7. Your rights
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, objection, cancellation and portability by writing to privacidad@capryvo.com and attaching a copy of an identity document. We will reply within the periods established by Law No. 172-13.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), role-based access control and periodic backups.
9. Minors
Capryvo is not directed at people under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
10. Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical or service changes. The date of the last update will always be shown at the top of this document.
